Prather, a respected pastor and acclaimed vocalist featured on numerous gospel projects, founded High Praize two decades ago as a Chattanooga-based community choir dedicated to delivering authentic, spirit-led gospel music. Over the years, the choir has become a beacon for those who love the traditional Black Pentecostal sound, while also connecting with today’s generation of worshippers.
Produced by Darius Seay and co-produced by Jared White, 40/20 Live in Chattanooga is a full-bodied celebration of gospel music. The project blends heartfelt worship ballads, vibrant praise breaks, and the soul-stirring harmonies that have made High Praize a force in the gospel community.
The album’s standout single, “Here For You”—written by gospel luminary Jamel Strong and featuring the powerhouse vocals of Minon Bolton—has already become a fan favorite. The song was birthed from a spontaneous phone call where Strong sang the melody to Prather, who immediately felt it was destined for the project.
