Steve Murry is a thirty-five year radio veteran and
has been part of the WEUP family for over thirty
years. He is the Winner of many radio awards
including the Steller Award for radio station of the
year for 2005-2006. He has worked to help develop
the talents of many young radio personalities who
have gone on to other markets and success.

Currently, Steve is the Program Director of WEUP-AM 1700-94.5 FM the
heritage gospel station and hosts the “WEUP Early Morning Wake Up”, which

ML6, is a native Detroiter who came to Huntsville, AL in 2000 to attend Oakwood College…now Oakwood University. She majored in Communications with an emphasis in print journalism and electronic media. 2 weeks after graduation in 2004, she began working at WEUP as a part time news reporter. After a year of reporting news she was offered the opportunity to work full time as the Midday on air personality for 103.1 WEUP. She gladly accepted. You can find ML6 on “The Shift” Monday thru Friday from 10-2pm on Worship 94.5fm / WEUP 1700am. In May of 2013 she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. After intense chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation she is now cancer free! Her goal is to encourage young women who are faced with this disease and help them realize you can live through it. “You may have cancer but cancer does not have you!” She loves serving the Tennessee Valley at a station that has served its community for over 60 yrs.
