Motown Gospel and Re:Think Music are celebrating a monumental night after earning thirteen wins at the 40th Stellar Gospel Music Awards, held August 15–16 at the historic Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN. Known as “The Greatest Night in Gospel Music,” the Stellar Awards remain the nation’s only awards show dedicated exclusively to honoring Gospel artists, writers, and industry professionals.
“This recognition reflects the extraordinary passion and talent of our artists, songwriters, and creative teams,” shared Brad O’Donnell, President of Capitol Christian Music Group (CCMG). “Their commitment to excellence and to sharing their message of hope through music continues to inspire us, and we congratulate each of them on these wins.”
The evening featured soul-stirring performances from Motown Gospel and Re:Think artists including Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Dante Pride, Jonathan McReynolds, Pastor Mike Todd & Transformation Worship, Adia, and William Murphy.
SVP of Motown Gospel, Walter Thomas, emphasized the importance of this milestone, saying: “We celebrate this as a collective victory and look forward to continuing to uplift and serve the world with life-changing music.”
Among the night’s biggest winners was Pastor Mike Jr., who walked away with nine awards including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (“Amen”), Album of the Year, and Producer of the Year.
