GRAMMY, Dove, and Stellar Award-winning gospel singer/songwriter Jonathan McReynolds has joined forces with American Idol Season 23 winner Jamal Roberts for “Still,” a moving ballad of reflection and worship — and the collaboration has now earned them a GRAMMY nomination for Best Gospel Performance/Song. “Still (Live)” is a worship ballad layered with soulful instrumentation, vocal sincerity, and an emotional crescendo of gratitude. The song is available now on all digital platforms.

“We are humbled and grateful,” said McReynolds. “This nomination is not just for us — it’s for everyone who brought this moment to life.”

“I still can’t believe it,” added Roberts. “From my hometown to this… God is doing something.

Jonathan McReynolds, a multi-GRAMMY–nominated trailblazer known for merging contemporary soul with authentic, transparent faith, first discovered Jamal Roberts during Roberts’ standout run on American Idol. When McReynolds wrote “Still,” he says Roberts’ voice was the first to come to mind. Together, their synergy — the seasoned artistry of McReynolds and the raw, emerging fire of Roberts — transforms the live recording into a stirring declaration of hope, redemption, and the unwavering love of God.

The 2026 GRAMMY Awards will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1, 2026. The ceremony will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
