Sean Tillery & Changed Release New Faith-Filled Anthem “If God Be For Us”

By uGospel News Desk Aug 1, 2025 | 11:31 AM

Sean Tillery & Changed are back with a powerful new release that speaks directly to the heart of every believer. Their latest single, “If God Be For Us”, dropped today and is already making waves as a bold, faith-filled anthem rooted in Scripture and bursting with gospel energy.

Inspired by Romans 8:31, “If God Be For Us” is more than just a traditional gospel track—it’s a declaration of victory, a reminder of God’s unwavering presence, and a source of encouragement for anyone facing life’s challenges. With its rich harmonies and straightforward, church-ready arrangement, the song embodies what Tillery calls a “traditional sound,” while still being fresh and accessible for choirs and praise teams everywhere.

“God gave me this song back in 2017,” Tillery shares. “It actually came from

a song I heard at the end of a movie. It wasn’t a gospel song, but it had a churchy feel. I started playing it on the keyboard, added my own chords, and just started singing, ‘Greater is He, Greater is He, Greater is He that is within me.’ That part came easily—but the vamp? That took time. God gave that to me later, and I’m grateful.”

This new single follows their 2018 release “I’ll Take Jesus”, a song that’s seen continued traction years later with choirs across the country still singing it. While both songs carry that beloved “churchy” vibe, Tillery notes that “If God Be For Us” leans even more into the traditional gospel sound, offering a simplicity and spirit that translates from storefront churches to big-stage productions.
