In a monumental announcement for 2000s R&B fans, multi-platinum boy band B2K has officially confirmed their highly anticipated forthcoming studio album, Eclipse. The brand-new project is scheduled to arrive globally on November 6, marking the legendary group’s first full-length studio release in more than two decades.
Comprised of Omarion, Lil’ Fizz, J-Boog, and Raz-B, B2K dominated the early 2000s R&B landscape with chart-topping anthems like “Bump, Bump, Bump,” “Uh Huh,” and “Gots Ta Be.” The upcoming release of Eclipse effectively breaks a 24-year recording hiatus for the quartet, following the massive commercial success of their 2002 sophomore album, Pandemonium!.
While the group previously reunited for the massively successful Millennium Tour in 2019, fans have spent years clamoring for new music that captures the group’s signature vocal chemistry and infectious choreography. Eclipse promises to bridge the gap between their nostalgic, defining sound and a refined, contemporary R&B approach tailored for a new era.
The group recently released the single “Milage”, and also shared footage of being in the studio with producer Sean Garrett.
As the genre continues to heavily embrace 2000s nostalgia, B2K’s return positions them to reclaim their status as one of the most influential male groups of their generation.
Eclipse will be available to stream and download across all major digital platforms on November 6.
