Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and musician Halle Bailey is officially celebrating the one-year anniversary of her breakout debut solo album, love?…or something like it, with the release of a brand-new deluxe edition.
The expanded project revisits the triple threat’s intimate exploration of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery while providing fans with a fresh batch of music to mark the milestone. The deluxe edition introduces five previously unreleased tracks to the tracklist: “leave me blue,” “don’t leave,” “potion,” “way out,” and the titular track, “love or something like it,” which features a guest appearance from fellow R&B standout Lucky Daye.
“I’m so excited to finally share these five new songs with you. Five different perspectives on love, life, and the beautiful complexity of being human,” Bailey shared regarding the expanded release. “Love is constantly evolving, and so are we. The deluxe release continues to solidify Bailey’s trajectory as one of R&B’s most exciting young voices. Signed to Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment, the group earned multiple Grammy nominations across two critically lauded albums, The Kids Are Alright and Ungodly Hour.
In 2023, Bailey formally launched her solo recording career with the powerful debut single “Angel,” a cinematic track celebrating Black womanhood and self-worth.
